Meet Melissa
Genuine, upfront, and all in on Southwest Colorado
Durango-raised, Melissa grew up in this valley and left for a few years to go experience the world, only to come back as soon as she realized Durango was where she wanted to root her career. Before real estate, she worked in sales and marketing for a local start-up and began investing in property on the side — the spark that turned into a career. She spent three years as a mortgage broker to gain an understanding of every detail of a transaction before earning her real estate license in 2005.
She’s been a top producer in the Southwest Colorado market ever since, and clients tend to describe the experience the same way: genuine, upfront, knowledgeable and honest — not just during the sale, but after it too.
Melissa is not your typical real estate agent; she advocates and educates her clients so they are empowered to make the best possible decision for their situation and needs. In her free time Melissa is out riding her bike or a horse somewhere around Durango. She’s given her time to Trails 2000, the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic, and Fort Lewis College.
Outside of that, she’s often behind the scenes fundraising and helping local non-profits.
